Vendors

Under active development: This section of the guide will be subject to frequent revision as game development progresses. Check back for more updates as we go!

The primary purpose of vendors is to allow individual adventurers to perform crafting activities to upgrade their gear or create crafting ingredients from other resources.

  • Constructing and upgrading vendor facilities will require different resources, some of which are obtainable from the overworld, and others from dungeons.

  • Certain vendors and upgrade paths will only become available in settlements of a certain size.

  • All members of a settlement work together to contribute resources to upgrading vendors and the settlement as a whole.

We are still refining the list of all possible vendors in the game. Below are examples and their planned utility:

  • Blacksmith (for weapon / armour upgrades, basic gear purchases)

  • Tailor (for cloth armour / aesthetic crafting, basic gear purchases)

  • Stables (for mount creation/upgrades)

  • Fletcher (for ranged weapon crafting, leather armour crafting, basic gear purchases)

  • Quarry (increases stone yield of a tile)

  • Lumber Mill (increases wood yield of a tile)

  • Alchemist (potion crafting and gear enchanting)

  • Marketplace (conversion of individual resources with NPC vendors at a premium price)
